Department of Logistics Management
The students of IUE Department of Lojistics have presented their projects to US National Security Agency.
The project has been conducted with Izmir Training and Research Hospital. In order to prepare the hospital to disasters such as chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear, several academicians from diverse fields (Assoc. Dr. Burcu Adıvar, Assoc. Dr. Erol Ünlüer, Assoc. Dr. Tuna Demiral) are gathered and the project has been presented to experts of US Homeland Security, FEMA and USAPHC on January 31,2014. The project has been appreciated by the American experts and they highlighted the importance of such operations for every hospital. The students, Cavit Polat, Mert Günerer,Elif Özkemiksiz, Büşra Zonguldak and Namık Ersen, are invited to USA by the officials. The project has also been appreciated by the Ministry of Health as it emphasizes the advantages and effects of logistics in health industry.
