BUSINESS SCHOOL INTERNSHIP RULES AND PROCESS
The internship rules and process applicable to students undertaking internships at the Business School are outlined below. Students can find detailed information on the steps to be followed and the rules to be observed from the internship application process to the completion of the internship in the explanations below.
1. Mandatory Internships:
• Students must complete their mandatory internships continuously for 20 working days during the summer or interim period.
• It is not appropriate to complete mandatory internships during the academic term.
• Students undertaking mandatory internships during the summer period must not take summer school courses at the same time.
• The first 20 working days of long-term internships undertaken by students may be considered as part of their compulsory internship. Students must submit their internship reports within a maximum of 10 working days following the completion of their internship.
• Students wishing to undertake a long-term internship during the summer period may do so without interruption, provided that the dates do not overlap and that they enter their compulsory and voluntary internships into the system separately.
• Insurance: Work and occupational accident insurance for compulsory internships is covered by our university.
• Application Period: Applications for compulsory internships must be submitted at least 15 days before the internship start date.
2. Voluntary Internships:
• Students wishing to undertake voluntary internships during the academic term must do so after their course schedules have been finalised, ensuring that the weekly programme does not conflict with their course schedule.
