4th International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress

4th International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress 2006 will be organized by the cooperation of Izmir University of Economics, University of Miskolc, Belgrade University and LODER. We are pleased to address you the invitation to participate on the congress titled as “The Era of Collaboration Through Supply Chain Networks” which will be held in Izmir in November 29-30, and December 1, 2006.

The overall aim of this Congress is to bring together academics, professionals, decision-makers and practitioners working in the area of logistics and supply chain management. Discussions and idea sharing during the congress will provide to the participants better understanding the recent logistics related issue.

History of the Congress
The first International Logistics Congress is arranged by the cooperation of LODER (Logistics Association of Turkey), Bahçeşehir University and Robert Morris University in 2003 in Istanbul. During the first congress 55 papers were presented. Following, the second International Logistics Congress was held in Izmir on December 2-3, 2004 by the cooperation of Dokuz Eylül University School of Maritime Business and Management (SMBM), LODER (Logistics Association of Turkey) and Cass Business School City University. During the congress, 104 papers were presented by the colleagues who attended the congress from 18 different countries. In 2005, the 3rd International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress was organized jointly by the Galatasaray University, Logistics Association and the University of Paris 1-Sorbonne. The congress was held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 23-24 November 2005.
