Guidelines for Submissions and Presentations

In this part you can find information about submissions, submission guidelines, poster guidelines and presentations.

Submissions
Papers should not exceed 10 pages in length. They should be written as continuous expository narrative in a chapter or article style - not as lists of points or a PowerPoint presentation.

Please remember that only the presented papers are to be published in a fully refereed proceedings book. This means that if you are appointed for a presentation, you should be at the conference venue to present your paper, otherwise your paper will not be published. This also means that the style and structure of your text should be relatively formal. For instance, you should not submit a verbatim transcript of your oral presentation, such as ‘Today I want to speak to you about ...’.

Papers should be thoroughly checked and proof-read before submission, both by the author and a critical editorial friend.

Submission Guide & Template

We require presenters to use ILC Submission Guide & Template in Microsoft Word for both their abstracts and full papers. We are not able to accept papers that have not used the template.

Submission Process

Completed papers should be emailed as an attachment to <ilc2006@ieu.edu.tr>. The deadline for abstract submission is April 28, 2006, and full paper submission is August 25, 2006.

Once your paper has been received and checked to ensure that corresponding files open you will be sent an official receipt notice via email. If you do not receive an official receipt confirmation within fifteen working days of submission please contact the conference secretariat immediately.

Transfer of Copyrights and Publishing Agreement

Presenters are not obliged to publish in the Conference proceedings. However, if you do decide to take this option, publication will be based on the transfer of copyrights and publishing agreement that can be downloaded HERE.
