Course Objectives The objective of this course is to convey a wide information about the international road freight transportation. The theoretical parts of these informations generally contain the determination of international road freight transportation, its importance in terms of globalized trade, related international organizations and conventions, Turkey’s and EU’s international road freight transportation sectors, allocated transit and ECMT licenses. During the practical lessons important documents for road transportation, such as TIR carnet, CMR, customs declaration, driver visa application form will be prepared. Accordingly, this course aims to gain students experience on international road freight transportation sector both theoretically and practically.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The students who succeeded in this course will be able to relate their theoretical knowledge on intermodal freight transportation with real processes
  • The students who succeeded in this course will be able to prepare all type of operational documents relating to this sector.
  • The students who succeeded in this course will be knowledgeable about technologies on intermodal freight transportation.
  • The students who succeeded in this course will effectively get ready to real business life with the help of the education given parallel to real processes
Course Description Within this course, the main processes realizing by the international road freight transporters will be reviewed within the context of theoretical knowledge.
